PROGRESS REPORT 1:
I have made tremendous progress on my project in the past few weeks. I met my goals by finding my 40 peices of evidence to support my thesis, and driving questions.
three goals that I want to accomplish before the next progress report is start working on my actual project, get all of my projects in ontime and find even more evidence to support my thesis statement.
My mentor has been a big help in helping me with my project so far. Shannen Quinn has helped my lay out my project and organize my reaserch neatly so when I need it for my project its easy to find. I have asked my boos at work for help and advise and he was very helpfull as well.
PROGRESS REPORT 2:
In the past few weeks I have finally chosen a side on the alcoholism debbate. I sided with the side that says alcoholism is not a disease, but a choice that some one makes. I met almost all my goals i just need to talk to my boss Joseph Halligan and see if I can do my fund raiser at his resturaunt, Halligan's Pub.
I want to accomplish schedualing my fund raiser, finishing my paper and getting a list of songs to sing for the fund raiser together by the time the next progress report is due.
My project mentor has been very supportive of my project and has helped me make vital decisions on what information to use on my final senior seminar paper. she has been a great help and any time I need advise she is always there to adivse me. I have been talking to Mr. Widner and he has also been a big help on my project and paper, I am going to ask him to be my topic expert.
-December 15, 2009- PROGRESS REPORT 5:
1. In the past few weeks I finally did my hands on project. All of my researching is finished. Everything in my project is finished except for the speach and the powerpoint.
a. I met my goals by completing my hand on project.
b. I met all of my goals, except for meeting deadlines.
2. My next goal is to get a jumpstart on my powerpoint presentation. I want to finish my powerpoint within the next two class periods. I also want to get my speech started before break. Also I want to find a video that will help me portray the message of my speechm, which is going to be hard to do. But I plan to meet all the deadlines for the reast of the marking period and get an A in Senior Seminar.
3. my topic expert has not really contributed to my project because we got into a little miscommunication. But my mentor, Shannen Quinn has been a great help in giving me ideas for my speech, and different things to do on my project. I have asked a few of my fellow classmated for advise for things to do on my project. I also asked Achley Kelly for help on my hand on project and she really pulled through for me and helped me stick with Senior Seminar instead of dropping it.
